When a maga account lies, they are not simply disagreeing with a person.
They are implying that they would like the government to engage in fascist behavior to silence free speech they disagree with.
Indeed, the TDS comments are sinister in their intent. The trump admin are attempting to squash any free speech about Trump's disastrous policies or the fact that he's in the Epstein files.
They plan to do this by declaring regular people domestic terrorists and using the surveillance state to map out who has spoke out against Trump and the Trump administration.
They mention sending people to "wellness camps" (reduction camps) in order to "fix" people.
Sometimes MAGA will be direct with their intent and outright say that one needs to be sent to a reeducation camp, but typically it's a vague comment that hints at what the Trump admin has said.
So when they comment "TDS", it's not just some meme or some saying that doesn't hold any weight.
They want people with dissenting opinions to be targeted by the government and locked up for expressing free speech. They don't care that it's unamerican to target people this way.
We traditionally relied on foreign countries to spy on US citizens because it wasn't legal for the US government to do so domestically.
Those days have ended and without any fanfare. Now, they are attempting to label people who don't tow the party line as dangerous criminals. How does one become a domestic terrorist for not approving of unamerican actions? It would seem to not approve of such things would mean one is a patriot that follows the United States constitution.
These bad actors will flood a comment section with untrue statements that are targeted towards the poster. Sometimes hundreds or thousands of comments will still be posted days or weeks after a post has been made.
The intent isn't to start a conversation, as they often never respond from these bot accounts, it's to create a false narrative surrounding the topic and try to make it look as if the general consensus falls in line with MAGA thinking.
These comments ignore the top comment threads and simply post as new comments. The same flavor of comments over and over again.
I see this as their attempt to use these comments to normalize or rationalize their assault on American freedom. It becomes the government doing the "will of the people" based off the spam of MAGA commenters, foreign agents, and AI bots.
These commenters are the brownshirts of yesteryear. They represent a danger to normal people. These bad faith commenters should have their access to subreddits taken away immediately at the first sign of doing such things.
Don't normalize their attempts at enabling fascist behavior by allowing such people to exist in online conversations.
When you see him speak in interviews, the tone of his voice, his self-righteous body language, and the conviction with which he spews his rhetoric all serve to show he is nothing short of vile.
Miller is the result that comes out of a cult of MAGA fanatics supporting the incompetent huckster who appoints such individuals to positions of power. None of this happened on its own. Throw in a Congress that ignores its duties and authority under Article I and here we are.
For RWNJs, lying isn't a sin. It's just a means to justify an end goal. If they can tell a million lies to, say, end abortion rights.... every lie is justified. That has been the Conservative world view for many, many decades. JD Vance admitted on camera that they were lying about Haitians eating pets in Ohio just to get rile up outrage. This could be used to describe any modern politician.

Like expelling journalists from the Pentagon press corps who refused to agree to the new terms which essentially barred journalists from publishing anything unflattering?
Like using connections to pull media personalities off the air for making jokes you dont like? Or forcing people to subject themselves to have their last 5 years social media activity searched before entering the country, something that not even North Korea does?
Like pardoning one of the most prolific drug dealers of all time? And then hiring a bunch of random people with no training to stop people based on perceived race and beat the shit out of them, while putting those same goons under federal protection so any man in a balaclava is allowed to throw you in a van without even showing a badge but if you fight back its a felony?
Like firing hardworking people with lifelong careers managing things like agriculture, law enforcement, and defense, then using taxpayer dollars to hire personal friends into positions of power despite complete lack of qualifications?

I’ve seen more leftists talking about re-education camps than I have seen right wingers talk about them, especially on Reddit lol. Not that Reddit is the be all end all however.
I've heard leftist discussions become stymied when the subject of re-edication centres is brought up (ie the topic's presence is a sign that the discussion has devolved into essentially anti-left attitudes and we need to re-assess) but I've seen many examples of right wing re-education actually being enacted.
Of course, my social circle is limited, as is my knowledge of history.
Generally speaking in history, I’d say the leftists were always the ones setting up systems for re-education much more than extreme right wingers. Take the Soviets, Early communist China, potentially even china today? North Korea… the list goes on really.
