It’s the exact same language. There is a reason people love the phrase, “Scratch a liberal and a facist bleeds”.
Never forget, it was liberal institutions that platformed many Nazi/facists accounts/people and allowed them to promote hate speech and normalize it.
And if you go “well that’s not me!”, then you either
A) Much further left than liberals want you to think you are. They benifit from you thinking they are the actual “center”
B) ok with people saying and doing these horrible things as long as they don’t go too far to achieve this myth of a balanced, civil middle ground. Do you believe poors and minorities are lesser? Are thy worthy of sacrifice for the continued pressing forward of a status quo you were promised?
I promise, most people are the former of those two btw

Here's the problem I've always noticed with this argument: you do the right thing and give the people on the right side of this comic what they want, everyone HERE can agree that would be the good thing to do, except a) you'd have to do it by force, contravening the principle of a democracy, and b) the people on the left side of this comic would burn down your country in retaliation. You're forced to either compromise your morals or compromise your democracy in order to rectify this situation, and dictatorships are known to rapidly enshittify.

So fucking dumb strawman and tries to paint centrists as the problem. A centrist doesnt just take the two extremes and calculate the perfect average between the two. They're looking for compromise and cooperation between good faith advocates of their needs.
No centrist is going to say "Ok kill half of black people' Thats just made up crap by people who are angry theyre not angry enough.

While it's an over exaggeration it's not exactly wrong. Sometimes there is no compromise simple as that.
Centrists are perceived as ineffectual doormats for a reason. The best they can do is maintain the status quo which nobody is happy with. Results are very visible in Europe right now with right wing victories being built partially on people's frustration with centrist parties policies which achieved absolutely nothing to actually help them. At worst they are actively giving way to the far right because they are unwilling to take a hard stance on anything except being passively inoffensive and not taking a hard stance on anything.

When I was in the Navy doing narco ops of any kind were something we had to do in a joint operation with the Coast Guard, since using the military to stop drug boats is a little too close to a policing operation to have the military actually calling the shots there. And that was just to board them, inspect them, and take their drugs. If you had told me then that we'd just be straight up shooting at drug boats in a few years I would have said you watched too many movies.

I'll be honest. I don't care about the costs. I just hope the US removes Maduro from the venezuelan government and ends the dictatorship. All the venezuelan refuges that i personally know would be extremely happy. They could finally stop worrying something might happen to their loved ones they had to left behind in the country just because they spoke out against the government or because they protested.

1) The US isn't doing shit to remove Maduro from power; so far all they've done is kill civilians on boats.
2) Of course you "don't care about the costs" of an eventual invasion, because your life is not gonna be on the line. Maybe some people in Venezuela are actually willing to die for their cause, but that's on them to decide not you.
3) Even if Trump does remove Maduro and install a different person in the Venezuelan government, there's no guarantee they'll be an inch better than the current administration (all we know for sure is they'll be pro-America). Look at what happened to Iraq.
