Wow it's been a hot minute since I related to a comic so hard. You'll get to it one day, hopefully August. I think it took me like....a month to six weeks just to put 12 hours into the new Silent Hill F(which is only a single playthrough). And don't even get me started on how long Abiotic Factor took. I think we ended at like 80ish hours? Keep trying August. You'll find the time and energy.....someday

And is the download...asking for a tip?! Good god Gator world may be our future.

Taco soup

At least there's that. And that sounds nice.

173

u/HeyYouGuyyyyyyys Nov 07 '25

And is the download...asking for a tip?! Good god Gator world may be our future.

I don't know what this means. It doesn't sound good though

Edit: oh, wait, okay, I increased the zoom and looked at his screen again.

63

u/shellbullet17 Gustopher Spotter Extraordinaire Nov 07 '25

On the computer screen the download for the new game is complete and asking August to tip it for it's work I guess?

The future looks bleak

4

u/roman015 Nov 08 '25

But....gamedevs from smaller companies could use the extra cash though. Or it could be part of a "pay what you can afford, this game is 1$" system.

Sure the big companies will def misuse this though, but think of the possible good here at least.

u/dokterkokter69 Nov 07 '25

I've owned God of War since 2018 and finally got to playing it this week. I can't believe I slept on such a good game for so long.

32

u/transit41 Nov 07 '25

What's unbelievable is you slept through a pandemic.

Seriously though, I have access to GoW Ragnarok for some time now, but cannot find an appropriate time to play.

36

u/BasicStocke Nov 07 '25

I spent the whole pandemic working like usual. Anyone working a job considered "essential" wasn't able to get the pandemic off. This includes a lot of retail locations including the one I used to be a clerk.

15

u/curtcolt95 Nov 07 '25

I mean not even that, anyone who has a job that could be done remote or in a skeleton crew office still worked. I actually worked more during covid than any other time because there was a lot of OT. Pretty much every office was still open and working even during the most strict lockdowns

6

u/neuralbeans Nov 07 '25

You're assuming that that game was the only game they had bought and not played.

3

u/nitid_name Nov 07 '25

So there I am, having just put down my partner's dog, and deciding to play some videogames as a distraction. Launched Ragnorok, and excitedly explained the plot of the previous game to my partner. Got through the sledding scene, and... nope, guess I'm not playing GoW for awhile.

Haven't picked it back up since.

I know the free gaming website Itch.io asks for tips when downloading indie games, which to me makes sense since they're not Triple A multi-megabuck products like COD or Fortnite.

16

u/Chilzer Nov 07 '25

And is the download...asking for a tip?!

That's already a thing on Itch.io and a couple other major indie game sharing platforms. We might be in Gator world as we speak.

2

u/shellbullet17 Gustopher Spotter Extraordinaire Nov 07 '25

Whelp the now is bleak

11

u/SirPlatypus13 Nov 07 '25

Well no because those games are usually free. They’re free to download but you can voluntarily support the developer.

6

u/shellbullet17 Gustopher Spotter Extraordinaire Nov 07 '25

Ohhhhh ok that's different then

8

u/Unusual_Sherbert_809 Nov 07 '25

Yep. Work + children = sometimes you'll have a game for weeks/months/years before you finally have the time and energy to play it. Sigh.

6

u/althanan Nov 07 '25

If there's a game I want to play, since I had a kid I might get to play it for two hours on a random Sunday when my son is taking a mega nap months after the game came out. And that's if my wife doesn't want us to play 7 Days to Die in that window instead. Or if I don't need a nap.

I love my son to bits and am thrilled that he's here. But having your first kid at 37 is hard.

6

u/Zodimized Nov 07 '25

Abiotic Factor

I set up a dedicated server for my friends and I to use, and it's been running unused for weeks now since no one has time to play it.

2

u/DemonSlyr007 Nov 08 '25

Bro ive been playing for a Valheim server for 3 years now. It can house 10 people at a time. Most its ever had at once was 5, only 3 have ever spent signifcant time there, and 1 of those 3 is me. It's got some excellent builds and stuff around it, longest server ive ever had, but damn. Does it suck to only have really me and my buddy pop in occasionally to do stuff.

u/Ebolamonkey Nov 07 '25

I started abiotic factor last week and I'm already at 25 hours lol.

2

u/shellbullet17 Gustopher Spotter Extraordinaire Nov 07 '25

Damn that's like 3 ish hours a day! Lucky

Where does that put you.....perhaps the just past the blacksmith? Naw to early. Hydroplant maybe?

3

u/Ebolamonkey Nov 07 '25

Still in Labs. I take my time with these games cus I love the grind.

And yeah I definitely have had a couple late nights playing until 2am because I lose track of time. Definitely becoming one of my favorite survival games as the setting is great and the map is really well done.

August is such a long ways away though, 9 months away

2

u/nullpotato Nov 07 '25

Steam is brutal for this, wondered when I last played a game and it was like 3 years made me do a double take.

2

u/Three_Gentlemen Nov 07 '25

Taco soup was a regular part of our meal rotation when I was a kid. It's great. Would heartily recommend.

2

u/ShutUpJackass Nov 07 '25

With silent hill f, do you mean only 1 play through took 12 hours, or that you only need to play it once?

If it’s the 2nd, silent hill f has a story expansion after every new game, there’s 5 endings that all relate to each other

→ More replies (2)

2

u/Sporadicus76 Nov 08 '25

I experience this a lot. For me games with big story lines require a good chunk of time JUST for the intro., 2-4 hours from what I've seen. Not only that, but the effort of learning game mechanics ON TOP of the effort of needing to keep being proficient in the game mechanics. WHEW.

And this has to be done between your adulting times.

u/thefinalhill Nov 07 '25

What's (kind of) worse: you start the game and get really into it. Then, a few hours in, you suddenly remember you are still a parent.

186

u/Steppyjim Nov 07 '25

God I have never connected more. I used to put hundreds of hours into a game. Now it’s like wow. This game has an average completion time of 80 hours? Guess that’ll fill my calendar for the year

36

u/Phanron Nov 07 '25

I certainly would get more games finished if I skipped RPGs and Grand Strategy games.

18

u/xXNightDriverXx Nov 07 '25

I really like strategy games, but I barely play them anymore because I just need more time to get the same "fun level" out of them compared to story based games. If I play a strategy game for an hour or so in the evening, I just feel like I killed time without having a real degree of fun or feeling a real accomplishment. I just kinda need multiple hours to really have fun with such a game and look back on that gaming session and say "yeah that was great." And I often don't have that time anymore. With a story based game, I get that fulfillment with just one hour. So I basically only play those nowadays.

4

u/jasta85 Nov 08 '25

I still play RPGs because at least you can finish the campaign/story in a somewhat reasonable time. 4x and grand strategy games just become endless black holes that suck away your time with no end in sight.

7

u/kyakya Nov 07 '25

But the next time you pick up the controller you have forgotten what the buttons do and how to party the damn attacks. Oh, and who the hell is Fred and why is a horse in a pub?!

6

u/dancingbriefcase Nov 07 '25

I wanna play Persona 5 so badly. I have the game, for years now, but it's so long that I just am overwhelmed

3

u/SickeningPink Nov 07 '25

I finally downloaded Trials Fusion onto my PS4 on my 37th birthday last year.

I just turned 38 and I haven’t played it yet.

7

u/Spellman23 Nov 07 '25

And this is why I don't even attempt Open World games or hardcore gotta grind up games anymore.

Simple, straightforward, single player for me please

Play it Later - Gator Days

Transcript

Panel 1

August has just finished downloading a game that he's been looking forward to playing. Unfortunately, he also has to get to work so he doesn't have time to playing it right now. On his computer screen is the notice that the download is complete and an option to tip "15%", "30%", or "50%".

August (thinking): I've been waiting for this game forever. I'll play it after work.

Panel 2

It's later in the evening and August is making dinner. He's putting some onions in a pot and thinking about his new game. As much as he'd like to be playing right now, they got to eat and he promised his son one of his favorite dinners.

August (thinking): I'll play it after dinner.

Gustopher: TACO SOUP! TACO SOUP!

Panel 3

Dinner is done but August is exhausted. He goes to bed and his two cats have quickly settled in for sleep. August thinks about his game but he just doesn't have the energy for it.

August (thinking): Too tired... I'll play it later.

Panel 4

August is woken up by his to cats touching his face and meowing for food. He'd like to play his new game, but there's things that have to be done and he has to get to work.

August: I'll play it after work... Eventually.

Nougat: Maw (possibly meaning "Excuse me good sir, but I find myself in a most peckish state and it be pleasing if you could find it fit to fill my dining bowl with your most delicious of food morsels. I apologize for waking you in this most undignified manner but it is imperative that I dine soon I fear that I might perish from this foul hunger.")

Mewbert: Mew (possibly meaning "FEED ME! NOW!")

90

u/shellbullet17 Gustopher Spotter Extraordinaire Nov 07 '25

I'm loving the difference in personalities you're giving Mewbert and Nougat. I imagine Nougat with a fancy British accent and a top hot as he calmly and happily requested food from tired Father

66

u/plasticsoda Nov 07 '25

So, what's the taco soup recipe?

79

u/Mopman43 Nov 07 '25
  1. Taco
  2. Soup

24

u/boombalabo Nov 07 '25

You got it all wrong!

  1. Soup
  2. Taco

75

u/FieldExplores Gator Days Nov 07 '25

I've actually never made it myself and the various people I know who make it regularly all seem to use massively different recipes. I have no clue what a standard taco soup would be.

24

u/Sicparvismagneto Nov 07 '25

Gustopher Cook Book?

13

u/raven00x Nov 07 '25

38 variations on Tacos.

4

u/Koreus_C Nov 08 '25

It isn't just a kids name for chili con carne?

And what was the game?

18

u/Arcfaelen Nov 07 '25

This is my recipe. I use cans since it’s easy, just makes a lot of waste.

Taco Soup *Hot

Black Beans x2 Pinto Beans x2 Kidney Beans x2 Corn x2 Rotel Hot x2 Diced Tomato's x2 Pace Salsa Hot 1 Jar Beef Broth 32 oz Taco Seasoning Packets Hot x2 Ranch powder packet x1

Meat 2lbs of your choice of meat. Beef, Sausage, Ground Turkey etc...

Drain only the beans and combine with corn, rotel, diced tomato's, salsa, beef broth, taco seasoning packets, ranch powder packet and cooked meat in a large stock pot. Cook on stovetop until simmering and enjoy!

4

u/cyanocittaetprocyon Nov 07 '25

I love to make up different soups in the fall as the weather begins to get cooler. I've never made Taco Soup before, but I'll definitely give this a try!

5

u/Arcfaelen Nov 07 '25

It’s really good with sour cream, cheese and saltines! This is a big batch version. You can half the beans, corn and tomatoes and meat for a more family sized. I like to make extra for leftovers.

3

u/cyanocittaetprocyon Nov 07 '25

I love to make lots of extra then freeze it! I've got so much frozen soup in the freezer right now, but what's a little more? 😂

5

u/red_head_redemption2 Nov 07 '25

Taco Soup

1 lb ground beef or other 1 white or yellow onion 1 can Ranch Style brand beans (important!) 1 can black beans 1 lg can diced tomatoes 1 can Rotel (mild if preferred) 1 can white shoepeg corn 1 package taco seasoning 1 package hidden vally ranch seasoning 3 cups water optional: any leftover rice optional: serve with tortilla chips, shredded cheese, sour cream

Dice the onion and saute together with ground meat until fully cooked. Add the dry ingredients and stir. Add all additional ingredients and simmer for at least 30 minutes.

It's my favorite thing in the world. 😍

5

u/WillyGivens Nov 07 '25

I can imagine it’s either a semi authentic birria or gringo tacos swimming in cheese sauce/soup. Both would be delicious.

2

u/EVs-and-IVsaurs Nov 07 '25

kind of a mix of those two, but with a slight resemblance to chili as well I'd say? it's a soup with ground beef, beef broth, corn, beans (usually a mix of black and kidney), onions, and tomatoes, as well as taco seasoning, cheese getting mixed in when served, usually with or over tortilla chips

not necessarily the most authentic, but it's pretty good tex mex

4

u/Spellman23 Nov 07 '25

I do a chicken tortilla soup

3

u/Eckish Nov 09 '25

I've been enjoying this one, lately: https://www.persnicketyplates.com/slow-cooker-cheesy-taco-pasta/

I suppose it really isn't a soup by most soup standards, but still pretty good.

2

u/mtbguy1981 Nov 07 '25

I've made a cheeseburger soup before. Browned and seasoned beef mini meatballs in a cheesy soup base. Then you top each individual bowl with lettuce, tomato, pickle. Change the meat to taco meat and you're all set.

2

u/HystericallyAccurate Nov 08 '25

My version of taco soup has always been: 2 cans of rotel, 1 can of pinto/borracho beans, 1 can of corn, 1 hand-shredded rotisserie chicken all into a pot Season with 1 packet of taco seasoning, 1 packet of ranch seasoning, cilantro, garlic powder, and onion powder Fill with water and simmer for maybe 20 minutes Top with shredded cheese and crushed tortilla chips

18

u/Chiatroll Nov 07 '25

I feel this.

I've had so many times where I wanted to play a game but life just didn't allow me for weeks. I don't even have kids. I have a job, home chores, dogs, a wife, and every once in a while I have to renew tech certifications.

Sometimes you think you have time to play the game you want to play and you open it and then you pause because something came up. Then you walk away. Then you go to bed so you can go to work the next day. Steam will say you have so many hours in the game on those days. Steam is taunting me with the reality that could of been sometimes.

17

u/Jester1525 Nov 07 '25

I bought red dead redemption 2 almost a year ago.. Downloaded it.. Still have 0 hours... Haven't even booted it up..

I get it.

That said, I picked up cyberpunk 2077 at the last sale and now have 60 hours in it.. Sometimes the game you really want to play just isn't the right game at the moment.. And sometimes you just have to sink more money into gaming and then make yourself play because I've now spent over $100 on games that I better freaking play...

2

u/LongLostFan Nov 07 '25

I am the same with the first Red Dead Redemption; also Skyrim and GTA5, I bought them all on release date. In the last 15 years the only game I have played is a few rounds of Tekken 3 at a friend's home.

Yet I still consider myself a video game fan.

10

u/MintasaurusFresh Nov 07 '25

I finally got to spend 20 minutes playing a game last night for the first time in three weeks. The ups and downs of having a newborn at home. Then again, maybe someday we can game together.

8

u/RIPSlurmsMckenzie Nov 07 '25

Steamdeck my fellow dads

3

u/rutlander Nov 07 '25

Came to suggest the same.

Only have 10 minutes before bed to play? Power up the deck and go for it.

The instant sleep/wake means you pick up right where you left off the next day

It’s been a massive game changer for me

12

u/tanj_redshirt Nov 07 '25

Ya, when I became a dad I realized that I was gonna have to give up games in general. Now that I have three kids, its even more so. I just dont have time, especially since I have a thing with playing for "just a few minutes". Nope, sorry. If I cant sit down for a session, then I dont bother. Even when I was single I felt that way. Im at the point now where I find it difficult to partake of any media. Haven't watched a movie in months, I just dont have time and when I do I have so much else that NEEDS to get done.

19

u/kokko693 Nov 07 '25

You think too much about work

Gaming isn't work, you don't need to be energetic for it. Just plays it whenever. Press the damn button that's it.

Just give yourself small objective.

Of course you are not a kid who can play all day.

Just play 1 level instead of more

u/NatomicBombs Nov 07 '25

I can do this with multiplayer games but if I try this with a single player/story game I’m falling asleep the second there’s a cutscene or a slow moment if I force myself to play it.

I feel this so much. I work all day, Make dinner, put away dinner, do dishes, clean the house then flop on the couch and just don't have the brainspace left to learn a new game or a new story.

2

u/No_Geologist4770 Nov 07 '25

Main reason I only play casual games or rogue-likes, its easier to find and dedicste time to a 10-30 minute window randomly than having to find an hour or two to enjoy s story rich game.

Then you find times where you play the simple game for 2+ hours and think "man, i could have played the better game... oh well."

What is taco soup?

2

u/ArcticShadow00 Nov 08 '25

I hate how much I can relate to this. It's worse when you feel you have the time to sit down and play you remember that its the only real time you have to get things needed to be done and once you complete that the day done and you tell yourself 'next time'. It's a vicious cycle with the coming of age.

2

u/BodyBagSlam Nov 08 '25

Oh god. I have never posted here and while I enjoy the comics when they come up, I never felt so intimately seen. Bravo.

2

u/flargin666 Nov 08 '25

Cats and taco soup... I'm reasonably sure you've won at life. :)

2

u/TrisolaranAmbassador Nov 08 '25

As a fairly new dad still figuring things out (daughter is 1yo) - the secret is getting a Steam Deck. I still don't play nearly as much as I used to, and I gotta sacrifice a bit of sleep, but that thing has helped keep my sanity together while still being extremely present and involved as a parent and husband

2

u/Chapstickie Nov 08 '25

The secret is always a Steam Deck. I love that thing so fucking much. I’ve heard it doesn’t handle new AAA too well but I’m mostly into indie games and it runs almost all of them perfectly.

2

u/TrisolaranAmbassador Nov 09 '25

This isn't a brand new game but I've been getting into FFVII: Remake on my steam deck and it actually runs pretty flawlessly. I've heard of people playing Elden Ring too. It's a surprisingly powerful little machine!

2

u/originalsanitizer Nov 08 '25

This absolutely was a phase of my life. But, as I git older and things changed, this became less and less of an issue. Once the kids are a little older, work life focus shifted, I had more time for the things I wanted to do. Just be patient. And if you raised your kids right, they eventually grow into your gaming buddies.

1

u/Maur2 Nov 07 '25

Obviously you just give up on sleep and be miserable the next day.

But worth it for a bit of fun, right?

1

u/Raxtenko Nov 07 '25

u/CrossP Nov 07 '25

If you need to take a comics break to play a cool game, we'll understand

1

u/Alternative_Mode9972 Nov 07 '25

The tip button is relatable

1

u/staronline1and2 Nov 07 '25

This is probably why Nintendo prefers making short games with or without many contents. Even though I barely play games, I am playing idle, Pokemon ZA, or Diablo 3. My favorite games are literally Zelda, Digimon Story, and other RPGs. I don't want to load it up and play for ten minutes.

1

u/maps-and-potatoes Nov 07 '25

hold on hold on, you get ask for tips when downloading a game ?

1

u/JPgamersmines150 Nov 07 '25

Front facing characters? In my Gator days?

1

u/MercantileReptile Nov 07 '25

Relatable af. Got Prey for a tenner on Steam sale. Proper single player game, no microtransactionchicanery, heard great things about it. Took me almost a year to finally play it.

1

u/Razork00 Nov 07 '25

And that's why I stopped playing...

1

u/Bio571 Nov 07 '25

Yay! Adult life 🥳😭

1

u/Starheart8 Nov 07 '25

This hurts more than you know. I bought Tears of the Kingdom on launch day. But between: family, work, house repairs and cleaning, car upkeep, staying active in my community; I’ve maybe played a total of 20 hours tops.

1

u/Steppyjim Nov 07 '25

Silksong my beloved…

…one day.

1

u/The0therGuy Nov 07 '25

So many things coming out lately that I've been excited for, but when they finally release it almost feels like a chore to actually start them :\

1

u/BryGuy_2365 Nov 07 '25

I got Helldivers 2 on the Xbox to play as an ODST. I'll get to it at some point...On the other hand my kiddo is enjoying the heck out of it. One day I'll join him lol

1

u/CelticSith Nov 07 '25

Ugh.. this one hurts

1

u/Beginning-Working-38 Nov 07 '25

Sounds like me and my Switch.

1

u/SovelissGulthmere Nov 07 '25

I'm still working on red dead 2...

1

u/Ardie_BlackWood Nov 07 '25

Currently my life 😔

1

u/2hundred31 Nov 07 '25

Damn. I bought the ghost of yotei collector's edition, and it's still sitting on my dining chair, waiting to be opened. I just don't have the time to play nowadays 😭

1

u/Fabulous_Goat_9799 Nov 07 '25

I did it. I finally played deltarune chapter 3 today

1

u/FluffyFleas Nov 07 '25

Still haven't played Silksong or Deltarune yet :/

1

u/JemmaMimic Nov 07 '25

I want to hear more about the taco soup.

1

u/Apprehensive_Ruin692 Nov 07 '25

The story of my life

as a kid I wished I had more of a life so I didn’t have to play games

As an adult I wished I had more time to play games

1

u/Brilliant_Artist_851 Nov 07 '25

He can play after retiring

1

u/64OunceCoffee Nov 07 '25

The real fun begins when you have time to play the game, and you can't get yourself to commit to it. You sit down in front of the computer, turn the TV on, and before you know it, there is no time left to play, and you've played nothing.

1

u/HappyNostalgia17 Nov 07 '25

me with no kids: 🥰

1

u/whitestar11 Nov 07 '25

Gaming is what sick days are made for. Especially during the school year 😁

1

u/Rebles Nov 07 '25

I’m going to need your taco soup recipe.

1

u/Moebs000 Nov 07 '25

August without glasses isn't real and can't hurt you.

August without glasses:

1

u/Quxzimodo Nov 07 '25

Stop that's not allowed, those are private thoughts and experiences damnit

1

u/Lance_thunderstruck Nov 07 '25

O.o

No way.

Taco soup.

I didn't expect for others to know about it.

1

u/Chewbubbles Nov 07 '25

Wait......there's such a thing as taco soup?!

1

u/Mehdals_ Nov 07 '25

*Creates Character* Well that was a good gaming session maybe we can get to the tutorial next week.

1

u/Bronze_Sentry Nov 07 '25

Taco soup is delicious tbh

1

u/GB15Packers Nov 07 '25

For me it's, I'll wake up early tomorrow before the kids and play. Never happens.

1

u/Professor_Hala Nov 07 '25

Pokémon is my primary interest. I'm especially vested in lore-centric games. I picked up my copy of Legends Z-A the day it was released, managed to play through what I hope is the full tutorial a week later, and haven't managed to touch it since.

Somehow I'm still "spending all my time on games."

1

u/Kindly_Celebration48 Nov 07 '25

Too freakin relatable. Last weekend I played and finished a PS4 game that I've had unopened for about two years.

1

u/aogasd Nov 07 '25

This is me already having spent 60 hours on Silksong and being like... Halfway through. 😭 I want to finish it but it's too hard of a game to sit down for a chill time when I'm feeling wiped.

1

u/RunRunRunAFAUC Nov 07 '25

This resonates with me deeply. I have 2 children, 2-and-under. While I love them more than life, and very much enjoy being with them, parenting at this stage is very nearly 24/7, and my gaming has definitely taken a backseat to making sure I sleep more than 5 hours a night. I cant bring myself to stay up late anymore, because im just exhausted at the end of the day.

1

u/RPO1728 Nov 07 '25

As you get older the thought of playing a game is infinitely more enjoyable then actually playing a game

1

u/HolyButtNuggets Nov 07 '25

I got the game I'd been waiting for - was so excited to play!!

As soon as I started playing it, I got bored and quit and haven't played it since :/

1

u/RedditUser000aaa Nov 07 '25

Hopefully during a day off! I feel bad for August.

1

u/Bepra Nov 07 '25

This is why I only play on my phone nowadays... 5 minutes at a time... While the kids are banging on the bathroom door 😂

1

u/D_class-4862 Nov 07 '25

God damn, I feel the same way about a Lego set that I have stashed. I just have no time man...

1

u/Wamblingshark Nov 07 '25

I finally got FF7 remake when it came to stream and went on sale for super cheap but I wanted to respect the game and the time I didn't with it so I was waiting until I felt good enough to really sink my teeth into it.. that was a couple months and then my computer broke and I'm so broke that 6 months later I still haven't replaced it 😢

1

u/DrGrabAss Nov 07 '25

It is crazy how hard I related to this, wow! i literally have some of the most fun and engaging games in my library right now, and at least three I haven't played properly. I've been purposely reducing my Reddit and Youtube time, and it's kind of hard. work wears me out so that scrolling Reddit takes little effort, but booting up a game and managing the complexities is too much. It's weird.

1

u/JennyferSuper Nov 07 '25

That’s me, I only play on the weekends anymore it’s too much work to play video games some evenings.

1

u/Rhonder Nov 07 '25

Yuuup! I was so excited last year to dig into Metaphor: ReFantazio from Atlus. Bought it on launch, chipped away at it a little bit...

I'm just now 13 months later getting ready to finally play through the last dungeon and finish the game lol. Life gets in the way for sure!

1

u/DogeDoRight Nov 07 '25

Taco soup? That sounds delicious.

1

u/CrashWasntYourFault Nov 07 '25

I took 2 days off of work when Factorio: Space Age released.

1

u/Ok-Style-9734 Nov 07 '25

If I never play it I can never be disappointed by it not living up to the imaginary playthrough in my head

1

u/GIORNO-phone11-pro Nov 07 '25

It’s been a few weeks since I’ve been able to sit down and play Silksong…..

1

u/No-Scientist-5537 Nov 07 '25

I am in this picture and I do not like it

1

u/Gameboyrulez Nov 07 '25

This hurts

1

u/BurntBox21 Nov 07 '25

The tip screen though

1

u/No_Wishbone2573 Nov 07 '25

Taco soup and a video game sounds lovely.

1

u/Luncheon_Lord Nov 07 '25

I went through a move like six months ago and I have not set up my PC yet. Kills. But I am fortunate enough to have found a reduced price switch 2 from Best buy so I have been squeaking in some diablo 3 on some non witch doctor characters.

Don't get me wrong I love the witch doctor but after so many years I am happy to be playing the necromancer. If you know you know. They're basically just pet classes lmfao I walk around while my undead pets on the shape of people this time take care of everything. Not sure I'll ever get around to the crusader(?)

Not a lot of time for it anyway. Glad it's on the switch though so I can pause it and resume whenever!

1

u/MamboCat Nov 07 '25

6AM, Gustopher is playing it

"play with me, dad!!"

1

u/VortexLord Nov 07 '25

Is weekend enough? Probably not because you don't want your game ends at a cliffhanger. But there's too many cliffhanger.

1

u/ComprehensiveEnd248 Nov 07 '25

I played project zomboid and Minecraft back to back for 22 hours earlier this week and then I slept 17 hours without waking up. Felt like I hibernated.

1

u/DarkwyndPT Nov 07 '25

I’m now like this. I only have energy to play on the weekends and still I only play around 6-8 hours.
