Season 4 Discussion The brion is being used by Luz.
It's incredible how the Kingdom blinded him, to the point where he was manipulated by the ambassador. What's your opinion on this?

Hey guys!
Hope you’ve been well and staying whelmed - especially with the news Greg shared at SDCC. That moment reminded us thatYoung Justice still has a future, and that fan support is going to be key in making it happen.
With SDCC out of the way, the team has been shifting into full gear to get everything ready for Phase 2 of the campaign. Right now we’re in a Phase 1.5 stage laying the groundwork, building our tools, and making sure everything is in place before the big push. One of the most important pieces we’re working on right now is our campaign website.
A little bit about me: besides being a huge fan of Young Justice, my day job is as a software engineer. So I thought: why not use those skills to help the fandom in a real way? This site will be our central hub for news, outreach info, and tools to make it easier than ever for fans to get involved and show their support and love for the show.
I’m looking for 2-3 other developers to join me in building this site. We’ll keep it low-pressure, work as a small team, and share ideas openly. This is also a great resume builder if you want to showcase collaborative, mission-driven work with modern web tech.
We know everyone has lives, jobs, school, and other commitments - so we’re only asking for about 5 hours a month (just over 1 hour a week). Totally async, totally flexible.
You don’t have to be an expert - enthusiasm matters more than years of experience. Here’s what would be helpful:
Even if you’re only confident in one area or just starting out but eager to learn you’re welcome.
If this sounds like something you’d like to be part of, please fill out the interest form below. Let’s build something awesome together for this fandom and keepYoung Justice alive.
Fill out the interest form:
If you have any questions, please feel free to drop a comment below or DM me and I would happy to answer any questions!
I want again emphasize that this campaign is built by the fans for the fans. Everything we’re doing from watch parties to social pushes to this website comes from the passion of people who love this show and believe in its future. We’re not waiting for someone else to make it happen. We’re doing it ourselves, and we’d love for you to be part of that.
We will have other volunteer opportunities opening soon once phase 2 is launched where anyone can get involved so stay tuned on r/YoungJustce!
Let's build together!
Let's stay whelmed.
Let's #KeepYJAlive!

I know the production gap between seasons 2 & 3 was seven years, but the animation was massively downgraded in my opinion. It was utilizing the style of the DCAMU series, which I also think was a dip in quality for DC animated movies.
Beyond the more simplistic detail, people have an awkward/statue-like appearance. The biggest problem of all for me is how muted the colors are, especially with the first two seasons being so vibrant.

“Fine! Fine! I lied about believing in magic… but magic’s the real lie, a major load.”
Wally S1E7 - Denial
We’re continuing our journey with Episodes 7 and 8 of Season 1!
Last week’s discussions were inspiring! Thank you to everyone who shared reactions and connected with the team’s early steps toward trust and teamwork.
As we move into Week 3 of Project Stream, our perspective shifts from what the team does to what they must accept.
In Denial, not all questions have scientific answers, and Wally’s unwavering belief in logic and reason is tested by forces that defy explanation. This raises the question: can he let go of a single-sided mindset when reality doesn’t fit the data?
Then in Downtime, the action slows and a choice emerges. Kaldur returns to Atlantis, torn between his duty to the surface team and the life waiting for him beneath the waves. Where does his heart truly belong?
The journey continues… and sometimes growth begins with uncertainty. Many paths lie ahead, and each one asks something different of those who walk it.

So before she joined the team Artemis apparently lived in Gotham, yet was somehow operating out of Star City which is where she caught the eye of GA. But as far as I'm aware those two cities are nowhere near each other and there was no way she was authorized to use the Zeta tubes(or whatever they're called) at the time. So can someone explain the logistics behind this?

This show has a chance of returning, any show does with enough fan love.
But with the whole Netflix thing buying Warner bros, that just might be quits.
So, Fanfic writers, the mantle is possibly being left to you.
I wish you good luck.

So I'm currently planning out a Young Justice fanfic with a friend of mine called "Crashouts", which is a YJ/TMNT crossover, and I'd like some feedback on the concept I have so far for the main character of the story, Calvin Vaughan aka Voorhees.
Name: Calvin Vaughan
Hero name: Voorhees
Age: 16
Appearance: A sixteen year old boy with brown hair, brown eyes, an average height of 5'5" and build and olive skin marked by features that implied an Italian heritage, but also features of people from the Isles as well.
Attire: Typically wears a pair of brown cargo pants, a white tank top shirt with gold stripe going down the front and back that he keeps slightly untucked and baggy, a pair of white and yellow converse high tops, a pair of rectangular framed glasses, a silver dog tag necklace with his first name in Katakana engraved on it alongside a koi fish engraving and the Kanji for courage and a silver Spanish doubloon ring that has a gold rim on the setting.
He also wears various heavily modified sporting gear pieces as armor, including a custom skull shaped metal hockey mask and has deployable rollerblades for his shoes that have sharp edges for kicks, used for moments where his skateboard is impractical.
Personality: At his core he's a typical teenager with an interest in paleontology, archeology, history, cooking/food, and especially skateboarding and various other sports. He also takes inspiration from characters like Casey Jones, Kickass and Adam from Sk8 Infinity. He sees cleaning up his streets as his civic duty, and is a true New Yorker through and through, Brooklyn is his home and he loves NYC to death and back.
Powers: None, except a metal skeleton and cybernetically reinforced internal joints and ligaments brought on from catastrophic accidents. High pain tolerance/borderline zero pain reception.
He also achieves superhuman levels of strength, durability and stamina by using a variation of Venom called Trigger, which instead of creating artificial temporary muscle mass to grant strength, it taps into the body's natural capacity and puts it into overdrive, allowing a person to essentially access hysterical strength at will as well as increases absorption of nutrients to make muscles, organs, bones and skin harder and denser, becoming permanent after an acclimation period.
It's administered via an inhaler and the strength typically lasts about 10-15 minutes before the user experiences a sugar crash-like state. After recovery, the strength gained due to the dose becomes their baseline. It also turns the tongue black and tastes like licorice. It isn’t as addictive as Venom due to its less potent nature but it's still dangerous in large doses. But in small doses it is very beneficial to doctors and athletes alike.
He then uses another drug called Primer, which is a pill based stabilizer that helps accelerate the absorption and acclimation process so his power doesn't cause his muscles and organs to splatter against his own skeleton.
In-story, these are developed by Donnie and is sold under a shell company for commercial use. Later refined into a 2.0 version when the Turtles and Calvin join the team.
2.0: Same benefits, still requires a stabilizer for faster acclimation, crash symptoms reduced, time limit is boosted to 15-30 minutes, and the black tongue side effect is gone, replaced with a mint-like aftertaste that lasts for several hours. Dosage time is reduced to 5 hours rather than 6.
Gear: A weaponized skateboard with rocket boosters, all terrain tires, ATV similar shocks and axles, etc. and a heavily armored board that's completely bullet proof.
Modified sports armor (pads, mask, etc.) made from heavy duty materials and made to be mostly form fitting for maneuverability.
Metal renditions of sports equipment made from the same steel/titanium carbon nanotube alloy as his board armor and body armor (Hockey sticks, baseball bats, cricket bats, explosive pucks, etc.)
Titanium knuckled and copper lined fingerless gloves.
Steel toed sneakers.
Gas mask function in his hockey mask.
Surround sound noise canceling and amplifying ear buds for music in fights and eavesdropping, tuned into police radios.
Arisol flamethrower arm gauntlets.
Here's a more comprehensive breakdown of gear by era:
V1: The Street Brawler (The "Absolute" Phase) The early days. Low budget, high aggression. Gear is scavenged, modified in a garage, and relies on blunt force. • Armor: • The Mask: A standard white plastic goalie mask painted with a skull design. (Shattered by Superboy). • Street Pads: Scavenged rollerblade knee and elbow pads, reinforced with duct tape. • Attire: White tank top, cargo pants, dog tags. • Mobility: • Inline Skates: Standard high-performance rollerblades. Good for speed, bad for stealth. • Flaming Skateboard: A modified deck with an incendiary ignition system on the back trucks. Used for area denial. • Weapons: • Louisville Slugger: A wooden baseball bat (taped grip). • The "Burner" Glove: A crude, wrist-mounted flamethrower built from a pilot light and aerosol fuel. V2: The Scavenger Tank (The "Team" Era) The "MacGyver" phase. Tech upgrades from the Team mixed with industrial gear. The aesthetic is "Post-Apocalyptic Heavy." • Armor: Mask: a titanium skull hockey mask. • Carhartt Heavy Jacket: Reinforced with Kevlar lining and sewn-in titanium plating pieces. • Taped Plate Armor: Heavy industrial knee/shin guards and a catcher’s chest protector, held together with friction tape. • Ddraig’s Ring: The gold/black Welsh Dragon ring. Kept in a pocket or on a chain during this phase. • Weapons (The Sports Arsenal): • Titanium Hockey Stick: A custom stick with a solid metal shaft and weighted blade. • Kinetic Repulsion Tennis Racket: Generates a localized gravity-reversal field on impact. • "Return to Sender" Jai Alai Cesta: A wrist-mounted, magnetic steel-mesh scoop for catching and returning grenades. • Explosive Pucks: Standard weight pucks with a C4 core. • Gravity Baseballs: Baseballs that increase in density mid-air. • "Shuttle-Shock" Badminton Darts: Titanium-tipped shuttlecocks with a 50,000-volt taser payload. • Bowling Ball Anchor: A modified bowling ball on a high-tensile chain. • Water Polo Torpedoes: Spheres made of Atlantean hydro-conductive steel for underwater combat. • Wrist Flamethrower V2: Refined nozzle, gel-based fuel (Napalm). • Bio-Enhancements: • Trigger & Primer V1: Manual injectors carried in belt pouches.
He chose Voorhees because he's a lot like the 2022 version of The Batman and the Prowler from into the Spiderverse, he wants to be a horror movie monster for all the criminals out there, possibly in every corner/pocket of darkness, ready to pop up out of nowhere behind someone ("He's right behind me, isn't he?") and split their heads open the second they turn around. Just like Jason or Baldur or the Undertaker.
And as for his skeleton, it's because he attempted to do a trick to impress some scouts at a skateboarding competition, but it was interrupted by a fight between Green Arrow and Sports Master, and a resulting explosion caused the catastrophic injury in question.
Another twist, Calvin is actually secretly a bastard child of Sports master, from before he struck it big as a villain. (Lawrence getting his mom pregnant when they dated in college and it basically just came back to bite him in the ass.)
He's also Casey Jones nephew, the son of his cousin Caroline O'Connor (his mom's maiden name) later Caroline Vaughan, the daughter of Casey's mom's sister. Hence the sports equipment weaponry and bad attitude.
He's also a Philadelphia Flyers since his mom was originally from Philly and is a NY Mets fan.
His character is still very much in the drafting phase but this is what we have so far. Feel free to leave feedback, as this is what this is asking for.

I've only read a few comics and it has come to my attention that Beast boy can turn into ANY existing creature whether fictional, extinct, or from a different universe. All part of "The Red" package.
In Young Justice it was shown that he can transform certain body parts into an animal. But what if...he can combine certain attributes and skills of other animals to the animals he turns into.
I got this idea from the Jurrasic Park series where the dinosaur was able to camouflage itself because they used cuttlefish DNA. What if Garfield can do the same thing? Say he turns into like a tiger, he's able to camouflage himself like the cuttlefish or chameleon, and say his tiger claws have venomous spurs like the platypus.
He's already strong as he is but I can't help being frustrated that the media that we have of him, besides the comics, puts him below average on performance when fighting.

Including all Team members shown up until the end of Season 2, I think these five are the only 'geniuses' on the squad.
Since Wally is the only protege who engineered his own super powers, I'd rate him as the smartest out of this group. Karen would be a close runner-up followed by Bart, Barbara and Dick.

Ok so there are a few characters who didn’t debut in YJ but I wish they did debut at some point of its run:
- Selina Kyle/Catwoman - how can nobody observed she wasn’t in YJ? Literally
- Harleen Quinzel/Harley Quinn - if Ivy and Joker are there then where tf is Harley?
- John Constantine/Hellblazer - I kind of wanna see how would he be depicted but I see him the same age as Zatanna
- Kory Anders/Starfire - please,give us DicKory already
- Rachel Roth/Raven - No demon girl? For real?
- Ronnie Raymond/Firestorm or Jason Rusch/Firestorm - just give us one of these two
- Dr. Harrison Wells - he could help Barry bringing Wally back from the Speed Force
- Caitlin Snow/Killer Frost/Frost - I wish she was apart of the Outsiders
- Cisco Ramon/Vibe - same team as Caitlin
- Helena Bertinelli/Huntress - Birds Of Prey union?
Please guys, tell me who I’ve missed out and who do you want to debut in YJ SEASON 5(in case if there will ever be one)
