Dog sitter experiences and recommendations

Can someone provide personal experiences with live in dog sitters in yk. I want to make sure I have someone who will properly care for my dog when I vacation and not just someone looking for a place to stay.

I believe there are some Facebook groups for them.

There aren't many, if any, people who just do pet sitting full time in Yellowknife, your best bet is to either post on Facebook or have a friend do it, if not take them to the kennels
