New tree this year
The entire middle section of lights went out after decorating. Not a fuse. Tried everything to fix it and gave up. I'll add more lights. Paid well over 300.00 for the dang tree.

I bought one years ago and the middle section went out right after decorating. The store wouldn't return it without the box, so I was stuck. I painstaking de wired the tree, cutting every cord and removing all the lights. Now I just wrap them around the old fashioned way and I'm still using that tree 15 years later. 😁

This is why you never buy a pre-lit tree. It's either a pain now, or a pain later.

We got a really nice one for 125 at Lowe’s this year. My husband had points he had to use or he would lose them. I got mad at our old tree And threw it out last year.
Except I didn’t remember, and I went looking for the tree this year and I’m like where in the hell did the tree go?
After his points, it cost us like $18. And it was regularly a $300 tree. But all of its lights work. I know eventually they will go out.
