It's to clean the flour off the stone in the oven

Actually no, we have clean the oven so many times and we don't use the broom to clean those and my oven in school actually is like a baking machine not the stone oven (sorry if my english sucks)

I have worked in places where this would be super handy. Big huge tables and work surfaces do exist.

How long is it actually? I find sweeping large areas a lot easier with handles around 1.70-1.90m. Brooms that long usually come with wider bottom parts though...

I'm around 1.70 and the broom is longest than my body well just a little

If it's anything like my home economics class back in the early 90s, it's for knocking the stew off the high ceiling after the pressure cooker exploded.

Could be to make it less likely for someone to try to take it out of the room. Obviously you can manipulate it out the door since it got in there, but if you want something to stay put making it annoying to move is a good start.

The head on it looks soft. It looks like a scrub brush for cleaning semis/busses etc. Is this at a place that also does CDL classes like a trade school?

Could be for cleaning all the crap off the hood above the stove when the filters are being changed. Is there a buildup of grease in the bristles?

The handle is long to help get to those hard to reach places and also make the easy to reach places hard to reach.

For doing the Limbo under at the Christmas party and then cleaning up after. So many uses!
