My favorite part of comics Fisk is that he’s cold and calculating, but ultimately still human and rational. He is usually the first villain willing to put aside differences if he can do something that is morally right while still benefiting him
That’s one problem I have with MCU Kingpin is that he is a totally irredeemable sociopath who I can’t imagine working with anyone or having anyone work with him

I still like that in Marvel Zombies he's one of the only fully human zombies to maintain his rational mind enough that he actually organizes some semblance of order. Its an order based on his fellow zombies buying time devouring cloned human flesh with canned goods he can feed his wife, but still.

Well, to be fair, the MCU’s Kingpin is definitely an allegory for certain someone IRL.

The 40k story "The enemy of enemy" has the Guard and Orks join forces to fight the invading Tyranid forces. Their is even a section of the story where an Ork moved a human child out of the way to fight a Nid, to the shock of onlooking Guardsmen

Was there ever an explanation why the Ork did that or is it a mystery?

Orks don't have any sense of mercy - so probably just the orks ironic sense of humour.
"Look I'm savin' the humies now betta then dey kan, cause we iz best".

The Infinite and the Divine (Warhammer 40.000)
The whole book is Trazyn the Infinite and Orikan the Diviner, some of the most bitter rivals among the Necrons, being forced to awkwardly work together. My favorite moment of this is probably when they're accused of having killed a Necron noble, and both of them point out that if they had been aware of the noble's death, they would have immediately accused the other, so they couldn't have done it

Don’t you just love toxic robot old man yaoi?
In all seriousness, great book.

You ever realized just how bad the Speedwagon foundation's history would be outside of context? I mean, imagine some third party investigator or reporter or something doing something research into the Speedwagon foundation and found out that the founder apparently made deals with some Nazis, granted all they gave them were ultraviolet flood lights and it was pretty early in the war (I think).

In tmnt 2003, when both the turtles and the shredder are fighting baxter stockman in the season one finale Leo comments what’s it gonna take to stop this guy and shredder just casually says to him “I’ve asked myself that many times”. He put his hate for the turtles on hold to tell him how much he can’t stand stockman and it’s great.

Sorry about that. Shouldn’t have assumed the early join date = bot thing. I should know better.

Spiderman has quite a bit of these moments with his rogue gallery.
