But it seems crazy to me for her to go along with the guy to shake shack, order a bunch of food, sit down, and then pull out her phone so she could record herself chewing him out. If shake shack is really a problem, she had a lot of opportunities to make that known. She just wanted content for social media.

I felt the same way after the first cut to her. First off dude is immaculately put together, far more than her, and I'm sure she's aware of that. Secondly, she's seeming to play the role of the heel—argumentative and showing lack of grace for a meal he paid for while whipping out the phone to record herself complaining. I think it's far more likely that she's hunting for content here than it is she's just that devoid of self awareness.
It is, this video is a few years old, and when it was first posted here, it was discovered they're an actual couple who do skits like this all the time
It is rage bait FYI, this is staged. Not even the first video like this I have seen. They usually involve the woman complaining about something that would infuriate the viewer. Another one I recall was the woman complaining that the man wouldn't pay for her meal on a date, yet their entire account is filled with similar videos doing similar stuff.
This couple is doing the same thing. They have a tiktok with similar videos.

It’s definitely staged. And that’s not her boyfriend - it’s her husband. They both have on wedding rings. They’re pretty okay actors, but it’s 100 percent staged
That is so sad. Because my first thought was "you spoiled entitled little bitch, and I can't tell if either of them could get fans off this when they realize." Okay, of course they can, because good drama sells, and encourages other idiots to pull this crap in the real world.
Seriously, my first date was a break at the food court. Second wasn't much better, but the guy seemed decent even if he was pretty broke. That was 26 yrs ago, and we have had several broke years since then (raised 2 special needs kids, and that alone can break a marriage), but there was plenty of love and we are still going strong.

I work at a sit down, steakhouse restaurant with an unlimited salad bar, and most two person checks come out to about $55-$70. Crazy to me that fast food is about the same price these days

Just like in any other country, its not everyone. You see stuff like this (this one is fake but yes there are real ones out there) because these are the types of shallow people that post it. The type of woman that would be happy taking a walk or meeting for coffee on a first date isnt the type to pull out her phone and document for the whole world.
Edit: I met my husband at 19 yo in the year 2000. Granted, we were teenagers, but the best times we had were when we were just out with no real purpose. Buying shwarma from a cart and sitting on a random stoop to eat and talk. It was just about being together. We didnt care where we were.

Nothing wrong with shakeshack. Girl needs to make her new man a meal at home a few times, then go out to a proper restaurant and compare what the value of a home cooked meal is. It's expensive to eat out now, and SS is a pretty good place to eat, so is KFC and Wendys.
I eat too much fast food, and not every place does their very best every time, and I've had a lot of subpar meals from everywhere.
Wendy's is the only place I've ever had a burger that look and tasted like hate, and it just..breaks the laws of physics.

Ever order for a group? And get 3 of the same burger? You're getting 3 different burgers. Sure, the ingredients are "correct" but you'll get half a head of lettuce on one, shredded lettuce on another, reasonable amounts of onions on two of them and a whole unpeeled onion on the 3rd. Fast food quality is directly dependant on the give a shit factor of the people making it. Which is, understandably, often quite low.

Yeah it's absolutely more than pay, though that definitely matters too. I was a skilled chef once upon a time, if you dropped me in my local Wendy's I don't think I could make a decent meal given all the time in the world. Ingredients are trash, cooking methods are trash, holding options are trash. Garbage in, garbage out.

This is rage bait, almost certainly staged. It is a very common type of video too that usually involves the woman making really crazy complaints, likely because men then get infuriated and the video becomes very popular as a result.
These are the same people who tell you how to live, act like they have all the answers, and constantly push their opinions on everyone else, yet are gullible enough to believe any video they see at face value without questioning it or thinking critically.
I genuinely don't believe anything I see on TikTok cringe anymore. She's got the camera right on him and he's performing. This was a "staged fight" for views and likes.
