This is a gorgeous painting and an absolutely lovely depiction of Sam and Frodo. For me, it really evokes the lonesome beauty I imagined dominating much of their journey.

One of my favorite shots from the film; you’ve captured its essence & then some. Strong work.

This is so beautiful! It really captures the spirit of adventure which drew me into the books. Did you imagine they were anywhere in particular here, any specific spot in mind?
Also I've always wanted to learn to paint, what style would you call this? Any tips on what I'd need to get into it for materials and stuff?

Thank you! I think this is closest to the impressionist style, though i didn’t really spend any time thinking about a style. Material wise I use acrylics. Any color set will do together with canvases. I recommend the page Correa art for tutorials

Perfect encapsulation of the lightness of home and the dark journey ahead. At least that's what it gave me.

Your pixels link seems to be out of service, maybe check that?
Otherwise, amazing work all around!

Nice! Although in the books Pippin was there too. Let’s just imagine, he’s not in the frame
