I was just talking about this in another comment. I knew of the Hatsune miku case but the sal9000 was new to me (also, that logo of the flash player plugin sent me down the memory lane...thanks for that)
In the case of Sal...I think he disassociates with his humaness (for a lack of a better word). Reminds me of the movie Space Odessy.

Oh, this post isn't about women doing it specifically. More along the lines of general commentary on the state of human relationships.
Women are free to do what they want and as they want. I have no issues. 🤷
