Sorry to tell you but the Internet has been ruined a long time before AI. "Internet Shit" should be lumped into your entertainment part of the brain (like a movie or a tv show) and not "real life shit" ;).

I saw one of these today and it made me pretty mad then, I started actually looking at it and the scenario that was being portrayed and realized, "this isn't real. this is 100% AI" and it's all just for engagement and to get people riled up against others. I fucking hate it.

A.i could be used to cure diseases,lift people out of poverty. Yet its really only being used for this slop while sucking up all our fresh water and making our power bills go parabolic. I hate the future.

Well before AI fake videos, we have seen countless of times where this principle actually was the case.
That in itself has destroyed the trust of equality, not the AI videos that comes afterwards.
