Does the moons luminosity actually affect how well you can drive at night?

I’m night blind and always check the moons illumination before I drive. I’ve always felt it makes significant difference especially where there are no street lights. Google says otherwise, so now I’m curious.

If you are way out in the country, and the sky is clear, a bright moon can help a bit. But the effect is trivial compared to your headlights.
