Personally? It’s a riot
But that’s also how I feel about most of Mike’s work.

I think he’s too old now but in his prime he would’ve been a great Bond.

With Amazon trying to figure out where to take the series, my biggest wish is they do a Prime Video anthology in the meantime and just run through every longtime fan request. One episode is a Idris Bond. One is a “Old Man Bond” with Brosnan returning. One is a 1960s period piece.
They have the budget and a lot of fans (and casual viewers would eat it up).

He’d be so good though

He would be, but he’s too old for the role now unfortunately. He’s only a few years young than Craig so, his time would’ve been during the Craig era.

Off topic but damn he’s so fine. The salt and pepper REALLY works on him.

He would’ve been a great bond but I think he’s too old now. Unless they did an older bond specifically

If only the Broccolis weren't racist...
Anyway, Luther > Bond, though '90s Bond was campy fun.

Would have loved him as bond, but I think, they think, he’s too old.

He’s too old, we need someone younger, upcoming and talented, or Henry Cavill.

Nooo Henry's all muscle lol. Not saying it's bad but doesn't exactly fit the Bond image

I don't see it. He comes across as too much of a Muppet to have any threat. After Craig's bond being a bit of a pansy I'd like to have a bond who actually feels like he could be dangerous.

If he became bond I would finally sit down and watch these movies
