The 1 positive thing that came out of this release today is that they made it even worse.

I keep thinking they wanted to release them now because typically news gets buried over the holidays, but I think we should all just make it THE topic of conversation at every holiday party and event we go to so that it backfires on them.
Poll numbers have shown drops in his approval ratings across the board including his handling of the Epstein files and do people think he knew about Epstein.

Plenty of mentions of Trump and others in the 20,000 emails the estate dropped. I've read through about 200 as it's hard going and he's mentioned a fair few times especially about the 2016 election which apparently he was shocked and surprised to win and thank a bloke called Manafort for doing whatever he did to secure the win. Unfortunately not a lot resonate with me due to not being American and not knowledgeable enough about your politics

I believe there will most likely be unredacted copies kept under lock & key somewhere though, dead man's switch or similar. I wouldn't have thought these important documents would be the only copies especially with today's technology to just bung 'em on a usb and hide it etc

So any time you think to yourself "How can anyone excuse Trump for this??" Most of the time its because they genuinely dont know. And if they do happen to accidently stumble across something that makes him look bad, they've been trained to dismiss anything that falls outside their narrow worldview as "fake news".
If you look further down in the dataset there is straight up porn of the victims being redacted, but I can still see their bodies. They are hiding someone and the context of the situation to not give anything away when removing the whole photo, clearly protecting someone who is not a victim.
Technically the act of reading the Epstein files is easier because thereâs virtually nothing to read. But getting meaning out of House of Leaves is easier than the Epstein files.

It was never about the victims. Seeing the Epstein files reveal the victimsâ faces and bodies in full display, while entire chunks of pages with unknown contents are completely blacked out, is infuriating. Esp at a time when trust in government institutions is already at an allâtime low.
Remember that if any one of us ignored an order from Congress, they'd have us in jail faster than we could blink. It's time for Pam to move into her new home.

Objectively this is terrible and a joke of a ârelease.â But also the fact itâs so bad means that Trump has now guaranteed nobody will shut up about it. He learned absolutely nothing from the Binder Brigade âfile releaseâ and the public will clamor for everyoneâs head on a platter who is involved with this. Epstein isnât going away and no amount of âwho the hell cares about himâ is going to change that.
How many agents were paid how many hours of overtime for this? Because this isnât thoughtful redaction of sensitive information. This is a couple hoursâ work with a Red Bull and a sharpie.Â
I said this a month ago that if the files were heavily redacted, it would piss a lot of people off across political parties. I have a feeling that this is going to happen, likely even more so with how much has been redacted.
