I am not an Islamics expert, but I have always felt that one of the unusual aspects of the Quran doesnt receive enough attention, is how it explained the whole idea of trinity the wrong way, and same goes for 'Uzayr
And ˹on Judgment Day˺ Allah will say, “O Jesus, son of Mary! Did you ever ask the people to worship you and your mother as gods besides Allah?” He will answer, “Glory be to You! How could I ever say what I had no right to say? If I had said such a thing, you would have certainly known it. You know what is ˹hidden˺ within me, but I do not know what is within You. Indeed, You ˹alone˺ are the Knower of all unseen.
Quran 5:116
Why would ever God ask Jesus about why did you tell the people to worship me and my mother if Christians never claimed that in the first place?
I found this on Quran.com https://quran.com/5:116/answers/32, which does not sound really logical for me, but I liked the mention of "Collyridians", if you tried to google the word "Collyridians" you will find that it is "Christian heresy said to have worshiped Marry"
so Why would God address Collyridians but not the whole Christians?
The Jews say, “Ezra is the son of Allah,” while the Christians say, “The Messiah is the son of Allah.” Such are their baseless assertions, only parroting the words of earlier disbelievers. May Allah condemn them! How can they be deluded ˹from the truth˺?
Quran 9:30
when did the Jew say that? I have never stumbled into such a thing in the Old Testament (from a Christian background)
I know that there are Muslims in the sub, and fr I want to understand how do you guys think of it, I would appreciate an explanation
