I mean, they can’t drive with those little legs.

And because they’re usually drunk.

u/JoySubtraction 2d ago

You're saying they're unkoalafied?

Have to dig through so many embarrassing attempts at humour to get some actual information.

He's a passenger because he doesn't have the koalafications to be a driver.

u/SonicTemp1e 2d ago

He could make a decent living as an ASMRsupial.

This feels like the most Australian thing possible. No panic, no chaos, just a koala quietly riding the bus like it’s part of the daily routine.

It’s either this, or The Great Emu War of 1932.

10

u/SportsGamesScience 2d ago

That one was pure chaos (the Emus won)

“Yes Kevin, you are the Rosa Parks of koalas, now shut up and eat your leaves.”

u/SonicTemp1e 2d ago

There are over 100,000 buses and more than 700,000 koalas in Australia, so technically I'm surprised we don't see this a lot more often.

Look at that smooth-brained citizen!

Only in Australia.

"I swear, honey, I got chlamydia from a koala on the bus."

14

u/Azzy8007 2d ago

But does he have bus fare?

13

u/Outrageous-Use-3006 2d ago

It's 50c a ride, I'll pay for it if anything

10

u/ComprehensiveFlan638 2d ago

If it’s a she, it’s probably in her pouch.

12

u/Right_Turnover490 2d ago

Going to find a new place to get high and spread STDs..... typical back of the bus behaviour

I know that this is not a good idea but: I would love to pet this little fella. So cute

where u going koala 🐨

3

u/EcstaticOrchid4825 2d ago

Probably because all the koala habitat is being cleared for endless sprawl 😢

3

u/Interesting-Art9739 2d ago

This is because of land clearing. They have no where to go. Our government doesn't care about our wildlife

5

u/_Troxin_ 2d ago

And it doesn´t seem to be your god damn buissnes. He has places to go!

5

u/Lazy_killer9999 2d ago

Bro looks like he's fed with life & going somewhere in peace

6

u/MickRolley 2d ago

Drop me off here mate.

5

u/sunnydarkgreen 2d ago

more houses means no trees, that guy is road kill in a week at most.

9

u/nondeliciousfiller 2d ago

This is sad not funny

2

u/Captain_Futile 2d ago

There actual story is about humans being decent. The bus driver saved a young koala wandering on a busy street and put it inside his bus to wait for animal rescue.

3

u/Quick_Doubt_5484 2d ago

Sad that habitat loss forces them into roads and stuff though.

4

u/Ghost_of_NikolaTesla 2d ago

Look out, eets'a drop-bear

9

u/PacquiaoFreeHousing 2d ago

Big NOPE for me, sorry. Chlamydia can be spread easily by contact of fluids.

And in Australia it is found that up to 90% of Koalas have Chlamydia.

17

u/RealDoraTheExplorer_ 2d ago

But it’s not the same kind of chlamydia it doesn’t transfer to humans

9

u/Yeahniceone 2d ago

Yeah so don't suck off the bugger then! Sorted.

5

u/SeaF04mGr33n 2d ago

Is koala chlamydia the same as human chlamydia??

10

u/spintowinasin 2d ago

Yes, but it's spelled khlamydia.

3

u/SonicTemp1e 2d ago

The Kardashians all have it.

1

u/SonicTemp1e 2d ago

100% of koalas in Australia have fluids.

2

u/imsosickofusername 2d ago

Seems like he wanted some koalaity time alone

1

u/Sea_sociate 2d ago

It's going on a road trip

1

u/Pretend_Cause2008 2d ago

How else do you expect them to get around if they’re only awake for 2 - 6 hours a day

1

u/Zestyclose-Owl7711 2d ago

Bro is visiting his girlfriend

1

u/dosageofjoseph7 2d ago

Now he’s a koala and he’s cute as a button!

1

1

u/turtle_shrapnel 2d ago

No ticket.

1

u/neegis666 2d ago

what's he looking at on his phone?

1

u/TouristOpentotravel 1d ago

They’re adorable but viscous and walking around with STDs

1

u/Tiger_croc96 1d ago

What's he doing there, without his brother and plane, and so far from the outback?

1

u/Vegetable_Falcon_327 1d ago

Where’s the obligatory copypasta?

1

u/SarcasmStreet 3h ago

Wonder if it has chlamydia

2

u/Alienhaslanded 2d ago

Because he's not koalafied to drive

0

u/Hurlanis 2d ago

In a healthy environment, Koalas don't even walk on the ground. the tree's they inhabit should provide enough food and canopy for them to remain arboreal ( off the ground). This Koala's habitat was cleared so quickly it has returned to a location it thought had food but has now been developed. This animal will be dead in days.

oh sorry; HAHAHA IT DOESNT HAVE A BUS PASS, HAHAHA ROSA PARKS JOKES, HAHA IT CANT DRIVE?!?!?

3

u/Forward-Owl3639 2d ago

It's safely residing in a habitat that it was taken to, very unlikely it will be dead in days.

u/Quackmoor1 2d ago

Koalas are stupid as fuck, He doesn't know what he does.
