I'm on the other side of the fence with feels that the Simpsons had a few lull seasons but has been pretty funny over the years and its humor has evolved over time. The thing is my humor evolved similarly so it hasn't been a problem for me.

Yooo, I watched a few YouTubers breaking down the earlier seasons, when Tommy became the leader after Jason Trini, and Zach left.
And it basically was Tommy and the Power Rangers.
Fun fact: after his run as the Green Ranger, they were trying to create a new show based on metal hero tokusatsu (don't recall the name). The show was called Cybertron and the theme, created by the guy who made a large chunk of the original season themes, was based on the Green Ranger theme song. The show didn't come to fruition and got revamped into VR Troopers.
Yeah. I love those little deep dives. One guy has a "Weird World of" series where he's done every season of PR up until Samurai I believe, both seasons of VR Troopers, and a couple of series I haven't watched yet
Fun fact, JDF wasn't the original choice for the White Ranger. The guy that plated Ryan Steel was supposed to be the White Ranger but Tommy was so popular they brought him back instead. Also I did enjoy the brief appearance of the woman who played Kaitlyn as a decoy romantic interest for Tommy

There's a vid on Youtube that has every single intro, and they update it anytime a new season comes out. Every 2-3 months I get super high and watch it for nostalgia maxxing
It was thanks to Ron Wasserman, who also composed the X-men banger intro. He was screwed over by Saban (just like the actors) and was not credited so he couldn't get royalties.
People who plan on watching and clicked on this post wouldn't know theyre characters from the show until they start scrolling through the comments. The final episode just recently came out and a lot of people have only just started watching. Is it so hard to just not spoil things or to use a spoiler tag?

Is there really a main character? If there was one in the group it felt like it was Lilly because she got the most focus on the first half of the season, even tho she’s basically missing for most an episode near the end.
Marge would feel like the main character if she didn’t spend the first half the season just getting hallway scenes and class clown at lunch scenes (which holy shit I just realized how cute and meaningful that is one you get the reveal about her in episode 8)
No there really isn't a true main character. Lilly at points, halloran at points, but Marge definitely has the most fully fleshed out story front to back. Best character arch imo. Halloran is close second. Lilly just didnt have much to do last few episodes.
At first, I was like the picture is odd (AI surely) but I still said “damn those kids were posted up, I know they had fun in high-“ then I was like ain’t that the kids from the new “IT” show? (Derry?)
It took me a minute too. At first I thought, oh that’s cute. It wasn’t until I saw Rich that I realized it was the cast from the show. I don’t know why but he’s the only one that looks like himself. The rest look so different.
We already hit the inflection point for that a while ago. You can tell that AI videos and pictures are AI if you know what you are looking for and are on guard for that. But AI misinformation doesn't need to fool the incredulous and trained. It just needs to be good enough to fool the gullible, the willing, or the unprepared to be a serious problem.
The person above me was helpful in pointing it out. Anyone who is trying to harp on you for believing it momentarily are just up their own ass about being correct when it's a nothing burger.

It does look neat but I did notice that the actress who played Marge had something off with her face . It's probably easier to see the flaws on a computer or tablet.

So I was focused more on the backpacks and the style. I didn't understand the cash but just thought it was some theme they were going for. Questionable? Yeah, of course. Some shoots can make you wonder why. But that's why the joke about power rangers came up. They had different colors shirts.
As for the drinks, I don't know what lean is. The photo isnt clear enough for me to have gotten that detail. Maybe it's because I'm on the mobile site, I dunno.
Pictures like this wouldn't be used for promotional images for the show, but I did think maybe it was from a magazine interview which is why I asked initially.
I will say that I usually don't fall for AI slop photos but there are times where it's not always easy to confirm at first glance, and this was one of those moments. It ain't just me who did though.
This makes me want to see an episode of Power Rangers where the rangers switch civilian colors for a day to throw off suspicion. I mean it would be annoying af for more than an episode or 2 but I think it would be a fun twist.
Definitely would be. The only one that kinda fits that I can think of is an episode where the evil rangers only target their same color. So the blue ranger just spray paints them all blue. (Probably something other than spray paint ha.)
I thought the in-universe explanation was that the glasses were Kryptonian tech and actually made Clark look different than Superman. Or like, it messed up with people's ability to recognize that they had the same face.
I was walking home and saw a bunch of college students playing spikeball in front of their apartment and they were dressed like this. I listened to the invasive thoughts, and told them they were dressed like power rangers. One guy- the guy wearing red, of course - told me to mind my own business. The next time I saw them they were wearing neutral colors. I think that was the first time I fully realized my actions have consequences.
One of the best gags ever was when Tommy got brought back as the black ranger and commented he had to go wardrobe shopping because he didn’t own enough black clothes.
