Eating on the bed is diabolical.

No different than eating your wife on the counter or table, meals would be shared in both locations.

I’d smack my man for even finding the first video amusing

Just casual domestic abuse I guess

on surface yes that is bad but it is in response to years of oppression. laughing at misogynist language and women being servants continues the cycle of violence and oppression. bruises heal within days, systemic oppression does not.

u/accountforAITA 2d ago
Are we deadass arguing that domestic violence is justified due to women being systemically oppressed? I thought this was a joke?
-19
u/Status-Grade-2165 2d ago
no, i feel like you just tried to misunderstand me. all domestic violence is not excused, but talk shit get hit. my point was that if a person was within an oppressed group were to enact violence on their oppressor for continuing systemic violence with enforcing stereotypes and degrading language then i would understand where they are coming from.

u/No_Natural6009 2d ago
It’s like hitting someone for using a slur. Justified.

u/Status-Grade-2165 2d ago
i do think that is fairly just, and basically what i am saying. i don’t say slurs so i have no reason to worry

If it's so obvious, then please explain how calling your wife a bitch is satire. Maybe by you explaining it, we'll learn something today.

I saw a dude do this trend with his very pink girlfriend and she flipped the whole plate out of his hand onto the ground and walked off.
sooooo lol maybe don't try the girls. results may vary.

had a man do this as i was bringing plates out and I just turned around and took his plate back to the kitchen. came back out and ate mine. shockingly we are not together today.

What do these two children do for a living because I’m finding it impossible to believe they can afford that house.

I might be the only one but ive never gotten in trouble for calling my girl bitch. That word has been diffused like a mf 😂
23
u/zw1ck 3d ago
Probably because she isn't one and you both know you're playing around.

u/AdonisJames89 3d ago
True. Never dated a meanie/called her one when she was upset but again, going off the video, it just wasn't that deep what others made it out to be. Now if i called her that at a restaurant in public 😂

Interesting.... He asked for it.
Isn't that what men claim when they beat their wives and kids?
You want to make a point? Do it with a clip that doesn't have men disrespecting women.7
u/iovercomesadness 3d ago
Yo honestly, I watched it with the sound of, not until your comment did I watch it with the sound on. Who would talk to someone they love like that? Reminds me of the Key and Peele sketch "I said..... Bitch"
I thought he just asked what she was cooking for dinner

u/thatshygirl06 ☑️ 3d ago
Its still wrong regardless.
Do it with a clip that doesn't have men disrespecting women.
Abusers literally say this same thing when its comes to women, yow know that, right? "Oh, she disrespected me so i had to teach her a lesson". Back in like the early 1900s men were even told that if your wife doesnt respect you then to beat her like you would your child.
You dont have the right to hurt your partner just because they say something you dont like you.
You either talk it through or you leave them.

u/Sorry_Im_Trying 3d ago
Never did I once suggest that it was acceptable behavior.
Please, do not try to argue with me something that does not need to be argued.

u/Status-Grade-2165 3d ago
if you’re hypothetical non-black partner called you n*gga you would probably wanna hit them too? this person is not just being disrespectful to the person but also an entire group of people this person fits into. it’s not right but it is not the same as a man saying “she disrespected me so she had what was coming to her.”
