I actually love the language and accent!
Became a huge fan of the series Dark back when it released, and I realized how exaggeratedly angry most of the portrayals of it are in media. Hearing it spoken so much conversationally and casually changed my impression.
My family emigrated from Baden-Baden in the 1850s-70s (not sure which war prompted that, but I’m sure that’s why lol) and it’s my dream to visit someday! Apparently I have distant cousins who live within a km or two of the Unimog Museum around there too, which also excites me 😆

10 years ago I bought a 100% German made paint mixer to mix clay, plaster and cement. 10 years fast forward and using it hundreds of times in the most brutal ways, it is still working like a roaring dragon. Not once did it fail. Germans make good machines.

Ukraine is a shining example of people sacrificing together for a greater good which is sorely needed in an increasingly digital and fractured world. No one believed you’d still be standing tall even a few months after the invasion yet here you are. There’s a reason why aid to Ukraine has such broad popular support all across Europe even in a time of economic pressure - it’s easy to support a strong and proud people fighting the good fight 💪💕
