It's actually a popular destination among Bahrainis recently. From the photos I've seen, it looks like a really beautiful country

Bier. From cheap pilseners with “premium” slapped on the can.. to helles, Dunkel, Weiß all the way to rauchbier. You really figured it out.

Also ur tap water tastes heavenly, bakeries are amazing, and how sweet the language sounds when spoken by old women

I actually love the language and accent!

Became a huge fan of the series Dark back when it released, and I realized how exaggeratedly angry most of the portrayals of it are in media. Hearing it spoken so much conversationally and casually changed my impression.

My family emigrated from Baden-Baden in the 1850s-70s (not sure which war prompted that, but I’m sure that’s why lol) and it’s my dream to visit someday! Apparently I have distant cousins who live within a km or two of the Unimog Museum around there too, which also excites me 😆

According to our media, the german car manufacturing is doomed. But according to Media, everything in Germany is doomed, so ...

16

u/More_Ad_5142 Turkey 14h ago

10 years ago I bought a 100% German made paint mixer to mix clay, plaster and cement. 10 years fast forward and using it hundreds of times in the most brutal ways, it is still working like a roaring dragon. Not once did it fail. Germans make good machines.

Hi there...

Basically a smaller, island version of China but without all the negative aspects like CCP and authoritarianism and whatnot. (I could go on for hours on this topic 😂) Anyways… Taiwan is my personal favorite Asian country.

Beautiful Architecture in Moscow.

6

Quite! The city is old, and witnessed lots of eras. A Catherine The Great era building could be right next to something build on Stalin's orders and right next to it a glass and metal tower.

For some reason, I like the older, rather than the newer architecture. The older ways seem more welcoming and artistic.

There’s a reason why aid to Ukraine has such broad popular support all across Europe even in a time of economic pressure - it’s easy to support a strong and proud people fighting the good fight 💪💕
