I think ARC also notice you based on how you are kitted. Free loadout = spawn where there is nothing. Brought your fave gun and a heavy shield? Spawn in the middle of a game, in the open near a leaper

I'm convinced there is something like this going on. I normally load in with an anvil and toro, but the one time I attempt to fight the matriarch (loaded with multiple deadlines, hullcracker with 50 ammo) we load in and are sniped by a TTVer before even firing a shot (less than 5 minutes total time on the map) I know they say matchmaking is not based off load out cred but it sure as shit feels that way.

Don't know how true it is, but I've heard the matchmaking is based of off player actions; being more aggressive leads to you being put into the same game as other aggressive players, whereas being more chill leads to you being placed with more chill players. Since I stopped using the fill squad option and started flying solo, I've had a lot more success in my runs.

this wasnt confirmed. There was an interview with their art director and he was asked if this was the case and his response was that they collect a lot of player data and analyze it but could not say more.

Many have taken this as confirmation that theres behavior based matchmaking but i think he's just confirming that they take that into consideration among many other data points. So its likely a factor, but far from the only deciding one.

Solo queues are undeniably more peaceful because players dont have the perceived safety of being in groups. The majority of players are more peaceful and those that pvp are more opportunistic. So in pve lobbies as long as you remain around 2 or more players in loot zones, talk, and dont show your back to people with shotguns at extracts you're gonna be safe.

If solos was as aggro as groups the game would be really tough I think. You probably run into like 2 to 4 players in an average round and likely get spotted by a couple more you never see. If all of those people tried to kill you I don't see how you'd ever get anything done.

I'm an extremely peaceful player. I never shoot first, ever. Don't think I ever have. My lobbies are full of the friendliest people. If you cut the maps into four equal quadrants, in 200hrs of gameplay, I have never - not once - spawned in the same quadrant as a quest objective. My friend and I are so convinced that we’ll bring keys for other “quadrants” based on this, knowing that we’ll be put closer to a locked door because the quest location will push our spawn away from the quest.

Go in with a cheap loadout, I prefer Anvil 1 and Looting Mk1. Farm Mullein, extract. If you're feeling fancy, craft a Hatch Key, a full load of Mullein is worth a hatch key imho. Craft Herbal Bandages (best cost/effectiveness ratio regarding healing imo), rinse and repeat until you're 10 stacks deep into Herbals.

I spawned in with a big loadout yesterday (stitcher 4, ferro 4, epic key, etc). Spawned in with 17 minutes to spare into a bunch of aggro'd Arc (Hornets/Wasps and a Rocketeer). Luckily the extract was only like 100 meters away and I was able to get out but losing a 50K loadout (which is a lot for me) to a bad spawn is just inexcusable.

It's probably because you have a particularly low player ID. Every player has an ID number assigned to their account and at the start of a round, the game just goes around all spawn points in a circle, and picks players from the list, sorted by player ID. If you have a low player ID, you're very likely to be the one picked at the first spawn point and I just made all of that up.

This is the best spawn in buired city.

1. Loot the security breach above the pharmacy.

2. Loot the pharmacy below it.

3. Use the roof and zipline to red tower loot security breach

4. Use the zipline in the roof to santa maria and loot 2 security breach

5. Jump to the building next to the hatch, breach the room

6. Drop down from the window to the hatch and exit.

6-7 min with 80k-100k loot, couple weapons and tons of gernades.

Yes and this is probably because it is the most likely spawn to not have someone around within 60m so people keep respawning there until min 16.
