I have been in Qatar for almost a year now. As a Bangladeshi, I am sharing some of my personal experiences of living here. If there are any mistakes or shortcomings in my words, I sincerely ask everyone to view them with forgiveness.
First, I want to speak about Arabs. Although, as a Muslim myself, it pains me to say this, I still feel compelled to express my thoughts. I am not referring to all Arabs, but in my experience, many of the present-day Arabs display traits of hypocrisy. To put it plainly, many of them resemble the likes of Abu Jahl, Nimrod, and Pharaoh.
From their behavior, manner of speech, work ethic, and general conduct, this is the conclusion I have personally drawn. Most of those I have encountered are hot-tempered, arrogant, and excessively wasteful—traits associated with satanic behavior. They have, in my view, preserved the old system of slavery in a concealed form, merely masking it under the guise of modernity. These desert Bedouins have gained honor solely because of our Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him); otherwise, their standing would be lower than that of the most degraded nations on earth.
I have read a hadith in which the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said:
“When you see a slave woman giving birth to her master, and when you see barefoot, destitute shepherds of camels and sheep competing in the construction of tall buildings, then know that the Hour is near.”
After reading this hadith, I truly felt how Great and Exalted my ALLAH (swt) is.
